Hughes Supply has been part of the plumbing and heating world since 1928, when Clarence Hughes and his son Russell opened a small residential electrical supply business in Orlando, Florida. The company weathered the Great Depression and World War II, added plumbing supplies in the 1940s as demand from local tradespeople grew, and expanded steadily from there. Today Hughes Supply is one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors of plumbing and HVAC products, with more than 75 locations serving residential, commercial, light industrial, institutional, and government customers.
For homeowners in the South Florida area, the value shows up in availability and expertise. A plumbing company with a strong distributor relationship can source the right part quickly instead of leaving your home waiting on a special order. Hughes Supply became part of Hajoca Corporation in 2011, joining a company with more than 150 years of history in plumbing supply. That depth of inventory and product knowledge is exactly what a local service team relies on when your hot water goes out on a Tuesday morning.
Quality parts matter, but they only get you halfway. What turns a good water heater or faucet into years of dependable service is the person who works on it. That’s where Mainline Plumbing, AC & Electric Repair comes in. Serving homeowners throughout greater South Florida, our team draws on strong wholesale supply relationships to access professional grade plumbing and heating products, then brings the hands-on skill to apply them correctly. Sizing, materials, and workmanship all shape how long a repair holds up.
Working with a professional supply channel also means Mainline Plumbing, AC & Electric Repair has access to the same trusted brands the trades have relied on for decades. Trucks stay stocked with common parts, which often means your problem gets solved on the first visit instead of the third. When something less common is needed, the team knows where to get it and how quickly. Your technician will explain what failed, why it failed, and what your options are, in plain language and without pressure Whether you need a water heater repair, a leaking faucet fixed, a sump pump checked before the wet season, or a routine plumbing tune-up to catch small problems early, Mainline Plumbing, AC & Electric Repair is ready to help. Homeowners across the South Florida area count on our premiere team for straightforward answers and work that lasts. Call Mainline Plumbing, AC & Electric Repair today at (954) 280-5597 to schedule your appointment and get your plumbing and heating systems back to running the way they should.
Water heating is one of the categories Hughes Supply is best known for, stocking both traditional tank water heaters and modern tankless units from manufacturers like Rheem and Bradford White. Tank models remain the dependable, budget-friendly choice for most households, while tankless systems heat water only on demand and save space along with energy.
Hughes Supply distributes faucets and fixtures from names homeowners recognize, including Kohler, Moen, Delta, Elkay, and InSinkErator, along with its own Mainline and Luxart private label collections. The company also operates regional kitchen and bath showrooms built to help homeowners and trade professionals plan distinctive spaces together. That range means you can find a straightforward, durable replacement faucet or step up to a higher-end fixture, with professional grade quality either way rather than the lighter-duty versions often sold at retail.
Behind every wall and under every floor sits the plumbing that homeowners rarely see and never think about until something goes wrong. Hughes Supply stocks pipe, valves, and fittings from manufacturers including Charlotte Pipe, Viega, SharkBite, Watts, and Sioux Chief, covering the wide range of materials found in homes of different ages. Older properties often contain several generations of plumbing, so having a supplier with broad material coverage lets your plumber match existing systems correctly and make repairs that hold.
For homes that depend on wells, sit below the water table, or simply need better water quality, Hughes Supply carries pumps, tanks, and filtration products from manufacturers such as Zoeller, Liberty Pumps, Goulds, and Amtrol. Sump pumps, well pumps, pressure tanks, water filters, and water coolers all fall into this category. Homeowners dealing with a damp basement, low water pressure, or unpleasant taste and odor benefit from having a service team that can pull the right equipment and get it working properly the first time.
